ConnectWise PSA is where MSP recurring revenue lives. HubSpot is where sales forecasts, reports, and workflows live. Most ConnectWise-HubSpot integrations sync objects (contacts, companies, tickets) but leave MRR, ARR, and TCV locked in ConnectWise. PSA Bridge derives those figures directly from ConnectWise agreements and opportunities and writes them into HubSpot's native revenue fields, so reports, forecasts, and workflows run on real numbers without spreadsheet exports.
For a managed service provider running ConnectWise PSA alongside HubSpot, the revenue picture splits across two systems.
ConnectWise holds the agreements: the recurring managed services contracts, the billing cycles, the product additions, the TCV of each client relationship. It's the source of truth for what customers actually pay.
HubSpot holds the pipeline, the deals, the forecasts, the marketing attribution. It's where the RevOps and sales team live.
The problem is that HubSpot can't see what ConnectWise knows about revenue. A deal in HubSpot for a managed services renewal has blank MRR, ARR, and TCV fields unless someone manually updates them, usually from a spreadsheet export. Reports run on incomplete data. Forecasts are guesses. Workflows that should trigger on contract value can't.
Revenue in ConnectWise isn't a field you can map to a HubSpot property directly. It's derived. A ConnectWise agreement has multiple line items, each with a billing cycle (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and a quantity. MRR is not stored as a single field in ConnectWise. It's the sum of all recurring line items, normalized to a monthly figure.
That classification and normalization step is the gap. Without it, HubSpot's hs_mrr, hs_arr, and hs_tcv fields stay blank, and reports can't touch the real numbers.
HubSpot's native revenue fields (hs_mrr, hs_arr, hs_acv, hs_tcv) are computed fields. They don't accept a direct write. They compute automatically from the line items on the deal.
This means a sync must write real line items to the deal, not just write a number into a custom property. Writing $1,750 into a custom cw_mrr field gets you a number in HubSpot. It doesn't make hs_mrr populate. It doesn't make the deal appear in HubSpot's revenue reports or forecasts.
App-Sync PSA Bridge for HubSpot runs a four-step engine on every ConnectWise agreement or opportunity:
Classify. Every ConnectWise line item is classified as one-time or recurring. One-time lines never contribute to MRR.
Normalize. Recurring lines come in at weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual billing cycles. PSA Bridge normalizes every line to a clean monthly figure with an explicit term. A quarterly $3,750 line becomes $1,250/month with a 12-month term.
Derive. MRR is the sum of all normalized recurring lines. ARR is 12 × MRR. TCV is MRR × term months, plus any one-time revenue.
Write native. The derived figures write to HubSpot as real recurring line items. HubSpot's computed fields (hs_mrr, hs_arr, hs_acv, hs_tcv) populate from those line items automatically.
Take a ConnectWise agreement with two additions: Managed services (25 seats, billed quarterly at $3,750) and Backup & DR (billed monthly at $500).
PSA Bridge normalizes managed services: $3,750 ÷ 3 = $1,250/month. Derives MRR = $1,750, ARR = $21,000, TCV = $21,000 (12-month term).
In HubSpot, the deal shows hs_mrr: $1,750, hs_arr: $21,000, hs_tcv: $21,000. All native computed fields. HubSpot's revenue reports, forecast dashboards, and any workflow that checks hs_mrr now work on this deal without any manual data entry.
